The Patrol Method

The patrol method allows Scouts to interact in a small group outside the larger troop context, working together as a team and sharing the responsibility of making their patrol a success. A patrol takes pride in its identity, and the members strive to make their patrol the best it can be.

Members of the Patrol Leader Council include:

[Scoutmaster or designee]

The Council is charged with planning the program of the Troop.

The Council is held on the Second Tuesday of each month.

Picacho Peak, Blacket's Ridge, and Wassen Peak by moonlight name only a few.

Sasquatch Patrol

This is a very elusive Patrol and has only been sited at a Troop Meeting once, and that was long ago, or so some old timers report. Evidence of its existence has been disputed, tho' there have been examples of Scouts joining the Sasquatch Patrol and promptly vanishing, never to be seen again. Only a handful of grainy photographs exist of the Sasquatch Patrol roasting what appear to be marshmallows over an open fire, but BSA experts are unwilling to verify their authenticity.  No one knows who the Patrol Leader is, or whether they will ever show up on a camp-out. And when it comes to collecting Troop Dues - forget it! Is the Sasquatch Patrol just an elaborate hoax? Or is it out there - somewhere in the woods. You decide.
