Pack 236 Athens, Alabama

Welcome to the public website for Cub Scout Pack 236, a member of the Greater Alabama Council and the Arrowhead District.

Our Pack is located in east Limestone County, Alabama, and we are chartered and meet at Isom's Chapel United Methodist Church on Mooresville Road, Athens, AL, (256) 232-5892.

Cub Scout Pack 236 is dedicated to preserving the long standing tradition of Cub Scouts by providing young men ages 7-10 the opportunity to participate in scouting activities that will enable the youth of today to become leaders of tomorrow.

Cub Scouting means "doing".  Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing activities.  These activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting - citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.  Many of these activities happen during our weekly den meeting and/or our monthly pack meetings.

Our Scouts normally meet each Tuesday at 7:00 - 8:00 pm during the school year and we meet monthly during the summer.

As a Cub Scout, you do your best and you help others.  You learn the Scout Oath and the Scout Law and what it means.

Please check out the Pack introduction slides, our by-laws and our activity calendar located on this page.  If you are interested in learning more about the Cub Scouts or joining our Pack please select the "Contact Our Pack" option above.
